This is just a placeholder. I have no clear opinion yet about Markdown. On the one hand I really like it and judging by how widely it is used nowadays I'm certainly not the only one... but for some reason I keep running into all sorts of small, but irritating problems with Markdown. Maybe it's me. Maybe I'm expecting too much, by wanting Markdown to act like a complete html editor alternative. I need to learn more and find people with real life Markdown publishing experience to talk to. So, I better shut up for now...
